From idea to real users in days, not months.
I've led whole product teams, from business analysts to developers to testers, and launched internal and public products. Today I deliver with teams of AI agents, and spend my time where it always mattered: shaping ideas and learning from real users.

The distance from idea to users keeps collapsing.
I've delivered software in all three eras. The fun part was always the same: ideate, ship, learn, repeat. What changed is how long you wait between them.
Receipts, not claims.

I managed entire engineering teams: business analysts, developers and testers. I know what happens before the first commit and after the launch, and that's where products are won.
- 01Discover
Brainstorming with talented people. The part with no substitute.
- 02Shape
Business analysts, requirements, and design reviews that settle fast.
- 03Build
Developer teams then. Agent teams now, on a board I run.
- 04Test
Testers who push back, defect triage, and a clear bar for done.
- 05Launch
Multiple internal and public products, out into the wild.
- 06Learn
Observation, interviews and, above all, data.
Opinions, held firmly.
I'm an impatient person, and product delivery has never been more fun.
Agentic development is the future of product delivery, not just software engineering.
The brainstorm that forms and shapes an idea is still the best part of the job.
Real users, observed, interviewed and measured, teach more than any spec.
Delivering the result Product needs beats debating how the code could be better.
Agents do their best work on a board with clear phases and a human at the gates.
What I'm building now

Back in the Saddle
I ran boards for human teams for years. Now I run one again, and every worker is an AI agent. How I built Software Factory, what went wrong first, and what changed in how I deliver.
Elsewhere, lately
"I used to run Jira and Azure DevOps boards for teams of engineers. I'm running one again. This time every worker on it is an AI agent."

Twenty years in, I found the work I love again.
A year ago I was asking myself whether I still had a passion for this work. I loved the people at my job, but not the technology, and I was spending my nights seeing how far agents could go. So I took the leap: Upwardly Math, then a game studio, then a factory to run them both.
Today a twelve-hour day feels like six. I'm looking for product engineering and agentic delivery work where outcomes are the job.

I'm always up for the brainstorm. Let's talk.
